					<description>Coach Fife,

I was very impressed early last season by a couple of huge games by Lafayette's Tyler Best. I anticipated a season of that type of effort and results from him. It seemed that he wore down as the season went on and became more ineffective. How have the coaches worked with Tyler to become more consistent and to be ready for an entire grinding season? I would love to see him find that consistency this year. He can be a force, it seems, when he is dialed in. What are your expectations for his final season?

Thanks

Evan-

Good question on Tyler Best. The problem we had with Tyler last season was they he was in horrible shape to start the year. When he arrived on campus in the fall, Tyler suffered a leg injury that forced him to miss all of our preseason conditioning. To begin the season, he suffered as a result of being out of shape. Towards the middle of the season, Tyler began to get in shape and he was able to have great success for us. That is, until he sprained his ankle at North Dakota, which set him back in a major way. As the end of the season approached, Tyler was able to get back to around 85% and he did a tremendous job the final three games. I agree that when Tyler is dialed in, he is a force. If he stays healthy, I have no doubts that Mr. Best will have a memorable senior year. Thank you for your question.
