Life still goes on…

We are off to a tough start this season, but I am not discouraged. The progress that we have made is night and day. However, we obviously still have much work to do. Our kids are trying and they will never quit. Tonight against Rochester, we are looking for intensity and focus. This has been lacking and it is important that we get back to this.

Win or lose, life goes on and one must keep an eye on the big picture and what’s important. Our kids are healty, doing well in school and are fighting to make this season a memorable one.

    Coach Fife,

Enjoyed seeing the box score of the big win last night! Sounded like Scott’s performance was nearly one for the record books.

Your post following the Valpo loss shed a lot of light on the state of IPFW’s program. By that, I mean that you are the perfect coach for this team. There is much appreciation among Mastodon fans with the way you go to work and the attitude that you bring every day. The players see what resiliency, hard work, and a positive attitude can do for them in life. Success will surely follow. I have a lot of pride for the players on your team. Way to go on having a first class group of guys. We are continuing to pull for you and the ‘Dons with each game. Just thought you would appreciate hearing some support. The improvement this year is not lost on the fans, regardless of the outcomes so far. Keep up the good work.

    Go Dons!
